Description

The PC-Hub Network Tester lets a technician quickly check Ethernet ports for features of the LAN devices they connect to, and troubleshoot during LAN installation and repair. It identifies active network link status, monitors data reception, and displays whether the outlet or cable leads to a network hub or NIC and whether the network is running at 10 or 100 Mbps. It also identifies whether the network has full or half duplex capabilities and flashes the network hub or NIC port light for the test cable.
The PC-Hub Tester automatically establishes a link with the hub or NIC and displays results on its dual-color LED. Note that this tester does not test 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigaswitch) networks.
